Common questions

How do I make a referral?

Fill out the referral form on this page, or call the office nearest you. Anyone can refer — physicians, case managers, lawyers, family members, or you yourself. We contact you within one business day.

Who pays for services?

We work with WorkSafeBC, ICBC, extended health benefits, and private pay. Pediatric services are commonly funded through the Autism Funding Unit, the At Home Program, and Jordan’s Principle.

Where are pediatric services offered?

Private pediatric services run in Vernon, Penticton, Vancouver, and Kamloops. In Kelowna, pediatric services are offered exclusively through the Family Connections Centre (FCC).

What are pediatric treatment blocks?

Typically one hour per week for ten weeks. The block system balances shorter wait times with enough one-on-one therapist time to make real progress — some families need fewer sessions, and some benefit from more than one block.
