Pediatric therapies

Occupational therapists and speech-language pathologists work with children and their families in structured treatment blocks — typically one hour a week for ten weeks. The block system keeps wait times down while giving each family real one-on-one time with their therapist.

  • Speech sound, language, and social communication therapy
  • Fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily routines
  • Funded through the Autism Funding Unit, At Home Program, and Jordan’s Principle
  • Private pediatric services in Vernon, Penticton, Vancouver, and Kamloops

In Kelowna, pediatric services run exclusively through the Family Connections Centre. Visit the FCC →

  • One-on-one counselling matched to your recovery plan
  • Works in step with OT, kinesiology, and vocational services
